Farm Fresh Chicken Wholesalers was established in 1986 as an independent chicken wholesaler with a focus on providing superior quality products, coupled with superior service and reliability all at competitive prices.

The business progressively grew from a small and ambitious operation in Klip Road Grassy Park with 1 delivery vehicle, to currently moving tonnes of stock per week, with a network of 30 delivery vehicles through our modern facility in Wetton, Cape Town.

The current facility was officially completed and the move was made from Grassy Park during 2002. The growth of the business was such that, in 2009, it necessitated the addition of a high-tech cold storage facility adjoining Farm Fresh Chicken Wholesalers’ premises, which alleviated the strain on the existing facility caused by the rapid increase in imports of products from our international business associates via our international procurement arm Transglobal Gateway South Africa.

This cold storage facility then became an ancillary operation on its own, called Saysons Cold Store which simultaneously provides cold storage capacity to various other businesses in the Western Cape.
